Project Overview //
SEH Commercial were engaged by M&G Construction to oversee the fenestration refurbishment of Woodbridge High School, a co-educational 11-18 comprehensive school based in Woodford Green, Essex.
Dating back to Victorian times, the school required important fenestration improvement works to the classrooms and corridors with the aim to bring the building in line with modern day standards. The project was to replace the existing windows with PVC-u windows featuring Georgian style inset bars. REHAU high performance tough and soft coat low emisivity glazing was installed to provide a long term solution providing welcome thermal and increased sound insulation.
In total, 141 new windows were installed during the school’s summer six week break.
Woodbridge High School is an example of the scale of works SEH Commercial can install in a limited project time frame. The end result demonstrates how a dated education building can be refurbished and brought back into the 21st century with an industry leading solution.
