Saxons Court is an exclusive new development in the centre of Wokingham, Berkshire. Set in a prime location, the 3 stories low-rise residential development consists of 39 one and two bedroom apartments, with a central communal garden area.
Careys New Homes engaged SEH Commercial to create a bespoke fenestration solution for this town centre new build residential development, which consisted of PVCu windows and doors, Sapa aluminium entrance doors, Sapa curtain walling and Solidor composite doors. The PVCu side hung and fixed casement windows feature alpha lock chrome handles with security egress hinges to ground floor apartments and restrictor hinges to all other floors, to enhance security for the residents. The REHAU single PVCu doors with chrome handles and a 2 hook lock were specified for their functionality and ease of use.
The Sapa aluminium video security access grey entrance doors with concealed closers, magnetic locks and tubular chrome pull handles, provide an impactful, yet secure entrance system. The introduction of the Sapa curtain walling within the communal areas maximises light penetration into the block and the Solidor composite doors were selected for longevity, whilst also ensuring an additional level of security, paramount to its town centre location.
