Project Overview //
Notcutts Garden Centre is a well established group of independent garden centres which started 120 years ago and now has 18 garden centres across the UK.
SEH Commercial were contracted by Notcutts to replace the existing aluminium windows to the head office based in Woodbridge, Suffolk. 50 Sapa thermally broken aluminium, top hung, open out casement style windows with restrictor hinges were installed to the main building. This featured trickle vents, safety restrictors and white key locking handles, operating multi-point locking gear. The glazed entrance atrium was overhauled to improve the office’s tired appearance by cleaning down main entrance glass and frames, and replacing a sealed unit to the front elevation.
The new windows have made a marked improvement to the offices and in addition to the aesthetic appeal, they have improved the insulation and security to the building. The revamped atrium has been a welcome overhaul to the office’s entrance and reception area.

In addition to the installation of the aluminium windows, the client asked us to provide a solution for their tired, glazed entrance atrium. We provided an overhaul solution which delivered the result they were seeking but kept within their budgetary constraints.
The office space was in constant use during the installation period. Our contractors were mindful of this and worked in a clean and professional manner to cause minimum disruption to the working days.
