Project Overview //
The Lakeview Community Centre is being built as part of the Great Easthall estate ‘Heron Fields” development in Murston, on the edge of the market town of Sittingbourne. The community centre project is being funded by the estate developers with the construction works being overseen and project managed by Swale Borough Council.
Once completed the community centre will be open to anyone who needs to hire a hall or a room for their functions providing much needed space for the local residents. The hall is set to open in June 2017 and will create a vital meeting place for local residents, groups and clubs.
With a contemporary design to match in with the surrounding new development, SEH Commercial were contracted by Swale Borough Council to install Sapa aluminium casement windows with restrictors and trickle vents for their thermal efficiency and longevity along with aluminium entrance doors to provide all important security. To maximise light and use of space, Sapa solar control curtain walling provides the hall with a state-of-the art feel.

The community centre project was carried out without delays and delivered on time. Our team of installers were really effective and efficient and got the job finished within schedule.
It is always satisfying to see the progress of a new build, although even more so when it’s purpose is to be the central hub of a new community. The fenestration creates a striking feature and certainly enhances the hall’s contemporary design.
